Jesusa Lasagabaster Billar (1926) was born in 1926 in a house called Artabe, in Aozaratza neighborhood, Aretxabaleta. His father was born in the same house, and his mother was originally from Etxenagusi. There were 11 brothers / sisters. In this recording, Jesusa tells how she felt when listening for the first time to the hitherto unknown sounds (noises, she says) of the bombs.
