Araba - Listening, Angelus

The painting "Praying The Angelus on the fields" (Vitoria Fine Arts Museum, 1899) by basque artist Ignacio Díaz de Olano (1860-1935) represents the christian tradition of the Angelus, also known as The hour of Ave María. As soon as they hear the call (generally by bells) of the Angelus, christians were forced to stop their works and pray.
