Zangotza - Horns of Sta Maria de la Real

Detail of the sculpted image on the church front of Santa Maria de la Real (romanesque, XI.-XII. c), in Zangotza-Sangüesa. The four angels represented around the pantocrator play some horns facing to the sky and to hell. This representation of the Final Judgement is one of the masterpieces of Navarre and Iberian Romanesque.
