The eve of St. Agatha is celebrated all over the Basque country, but notably in Bizkaia. In Orozko, the choir with the name of the Saint organizes with several neighbors, a public chanting procession. On this recording, after having spent all the afternoon singing from neighborhood to neighborhood, the group sings for the last time in the main square of the town. Before starting with the latter function, they pray the Lord's Prayer in honor of the residents who died during the past year, and then sing the 13 verses that make up this special song.
