Salcedo - Porretero

In Salcedo, as in almost all places, carnivals were banned in 1936. In 1983 it began to recover based on existing documentation, and since 1991 is celebrated every year, thanks to the selfless work of the "Amigos de Salcedo" Cultural Association. The party starts in the square, when the Porretero - main character of the carnival- steals a chicken from a small coop installed in the square.
