Recording made on Holy Thursday at the "Breaking of the Hour" in Tudela.
Various brotherhoods from the Ribera and La Rioja regions gather to play drums, bass drums, and snare drums between noon and 1 p.m. on Holy Thursday in the Plaza de la Catedral de Santa María.
Inspired by the traditional drum processions of Lower Aragon, such as the one in Calanda, it is one of the loudest moments of Holy Week.
Recorded in the center of the plaza surrounded by various bands, while a smaller group directs the drumming from the steps in front of the Town Hall. As it finishes, a new brotherhood takes over to lead the next drumming.
